Food galore

What I've noticed so far is most people who love to cook or bake will certainly have a creative side in them. Why? Because it's the elements of creativity in oneself that takes cooking and baking to a whole new level.

Here are some of my favourites, and believe me, it's easier than you think!

The hidden heart cake

I tweeted this a few days before Valentine's Day,

" No chocolates and flowers please. #ValentinesDay"

and guess what,

my boy bought me both! 

I told Mr S I don't fancy him buying me flowers because it's a waste of money(I prefer practical things :P), but of course, it's not exactly a bad thing to receive flowers from the person you love, no? Thank you dear if you're reading this.

So I concluded that for the next V-Day, he only needs to buy me a stalk of rose and I'm a happy girl. It's pretty sad to see the flowers wilt and there's nothing you can do to save them!

It was my bad that I said chocolates and roses during V-Day are boring. Well, it is but I still appreciate gifts. After all, everyone claimed that what's V-Day without chocs and roses right?

Frankly speaking, both of us have the same thoughts for V-Day. We felt that anniversaries and birthdays are far more important because as clichéd as it may seem, everyday is Valentine's Day.

To conclude our story for the fourth V-Day celebration, everything begins with an element of surprise, unpredictability and adventure. Here's ours so far.

Success

'Reaching the top of the tree' in one's chosen occupation is the usual standard by which success in life is measured. To me, the word 'success' is incredibly subjective. What seems to be a great success for some may be a dramatic disappointment for others or vice versa.

Certain people are born into positions which already confer affluence and power but generally, most of us have to work hard to achieve success. Perhaps the fundamental way to achieve it is first to be sure of what you want to do with life and then to be sure that you are capable of doing it. I have always liked to say this:

"If you want something badly, you'll get it"

and this has been my mantra ever since I found the true meaning behind the magical word in life: Success

One thing for sure, what keeps me standing firm on my own depends crucially on good personal relationships both within and outside the family and the social network. Also, I am strongly motivated by these three words; 'Challenge.Drive.Passion'. Somehow, it leads to happiness and self-fulfilment.

Oprah Winfrey once quoted:

"The key to realising a dream is to focus not on success but significance - and then even the small steps and little victories along your path will take on greater meaning."

I'm 23. I still have a long way to go.
